Literary and historical works from the Library Biblioteca Virtual Miguel de Cervantes general catalogue have been included here. They were selected based on their relevance regarding the history of leprosy in Spain. They notably include the editions of the well-known works by Gabriel Miró in which he gives his vision of the disease and its presence among the inhabitants of Alicante province mountain municipalities. The bibliography includes a selection of studies of these works by Miró, that are also included in the general catalogue of the Miguel de Cervantes Digital Library.
