The idea of the VER LA POESÍA (SEE THE POETRY) project is to create digital content on Spanish poetry expressed through Spanish sign language and distribute it globally, bringing a modern twist to the fledgling cultural industry of this sector, improving its level of quality and access to it, and thereby promoting understanding of this cultural heritage amongst the Spanish and international deaf community and, in turn, knowledge of one's own poetic potential using sign language amongst the hearing community, so as to gain a general understanding of poetry.
