The Ibero-American Editors and Editorials (19th-21st centuries) - EDI-RED portal traces the map of literary publishing in Spanish, Catalan, Basque/Basque, Galician and Portuguese, from 1800 to the present, on paper or in digital format and in any geographic space.
This ambitious project focuses on the portraits of publishers, publishers, collections and literary consultants, from nineteenth-century craft companies to the large groups that currently dominate the global Spanish publishing industry.
This website dedicates a specific space to Book Fairs and publishing spaces in Spain, the European Union and Latin America. The Multimedia section includes interviews, in video, audio and transcripts, with contemporary editors and directors of the main Spanish and Latin American fairs (Madrid, Buenos Aires, Bogotá, Lima, FIL Guadalajara) about their professional tasks and transcripts of the interviews. Also included is the content of the sessions of the International Seminars «Public Networks and International Relations», with the interventions of their speakers and round tables.
EDI-RED addresses the cultural history of Ibero-American publishing with its specificities and singularities, whether they are string sheets, bibliophile editions, pocket collections or the current cartoneras, without forgetting, in addition, realities in full expansion such as Chicano publishing.
